Under general supervision, the purpose of this position is to perform routine to moderately complex account maintenance work for the Cash Bonds Unit. Employees in this classification are responsible for recording, calculating, and verifying all funds processed. Accuracy is critical to successful performance. Position reviews all work performed for the purpose of ensuring accuracy in accounting and verification of funds processed. Performs related work as directed. Tasks involve the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (5-10 pounds). Tasks involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation. Work is performed in usual office conditions with rare exposure to disagreeable environmental factors.

** This position requires the ability to work the following shift: 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. **
1. Must be a current employee of the Broward Sheriff's Office.
2. Two (2) years previous experience and/or training involving routine accounting functions, demonstrating ability to establish and maintain accurate financial accounts and records. Such experience should be clearly demonstrated in the initial application or resume.
3. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent service to a large volume of customers preferred.
4. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. Such experience must be clearly documented for consideration.
